In the following article, we write about some of the most common autoimmune diseases, some myths about them, and how they can be treated naturally.
There are many autoimmune diseases, among which the most common are:
Multiple sclerosis: The misdirected antibody destroys the myelin in the brain and spinal cord, causing communication between the brain and the body to be blocked or slowed down.
Type 1 diabetes mellitus: The pancreatic cells responsible for producing insulin are destroyed, causing blood glucose levels to rise.
Lupus: It is a disease in which inflammation and damage occur to various organs, which may include: joints, lungs, brain, kidneys, blood vessels, and/or skin.
Crohn's disease: It causes inflammation, swelling, and stiffness in the small intestine, leading to, among other things, acute diarrheal diseases, pain, malabsorption, and/or fatigue.
In addition to the examples of autoimmune diseases mentioned earlier, there are many others that are also part of the group. The common treatment for autoimmune diseases varies depending on each disease, although in many cases, medications are prescribed to reduce the activity of the immune system, despite the fact that this can bring many other complications.
The immune system is responsible for defending the body against pathogens. It has different lines of defense:
The first line is made up of the body's outer layers, such as the skin and mucous membranes, which prevent the entry of invaders.
The second line starts to work when pathogens pass the first line and consists of inflammatory processes and cells such as phagocytes and NK lymphocytes, which get rid of the pathogens.
The third line is the adaptive part of the immune system that deactivates and destroys any unwanted substance. It is made up of T and B lymphocytes, macrophages, and antibodies. There are different types of antibodies or immunoglobulins, one of which is produced in the intestine and protects its mucous membranes from viruses, bacteria, fungi, and parasites.
The gut flora, which consists of the microorganisms living in the intestine, is very important for the antibodies produced in the intestine. For this reason, MEISI is crucial for the immune system as it restores the gut flora and, therefore, increases the number of defensive cells within the intestine.

Enfermedades autoinmunes
When the immune system is not very strong, autoimmune diseases occur. In simple terms, an autoimmune disease happens when the immune system loses the ability to differentiate between "good" and "bad" in the body, causing it to produce antibodies that, when confused, damage its own tissue. The body’s own defense system causes the disorder, but it is important to emphasize that the body does not intentionally attack itself; rather, it fails to identify the "bad" agent and attacks indiscriminately, damaging itself.
Unlike common treatments, MEISI helps strengthen and optimize the functioning of the immune system to restore the body's ability to resist diseases. The protocols facilitate the elimination of invaders and provide the necessary nutrients to keep the defense and destruction processes functioning optimally, preventing the risk of the body mistakenly attacking its own cells while trying to destroy the enemies.
